Can you take one with you to the next meeting at the Sun Inn please.
-
I'm thinking relay myself, may send a text to Smaky to see if he has a spare one laying about,
-
My 156 has started to only indicate when it feels like it, it seems to be more of a problem when the weather is hot. today it packed up altogether at one point then decided it would do 2 flashes an the occasional odd flash after that.
-
All these tempting cars for sale, unfortunately I'm a few months, hopefully, away from being able to take any those offered. Once my house is sold and I have a decent driveway I shall be adding to my current pair.
-
If I had the money I would be snapping that up, loved my 146s they are great fun.
-
I would love them but fear they will be outside my budget Just arranged to have my 166 picked up and mended then put through an MOT after which I need to tax it so money tight right now.
-
That's the least of my troubles on my 166.
-
Ahh, but the point is the multi-air is not diseasel.
-
You should talk to Tess, she has the same engine in her Mito.
-
On my 166 the driver can open and close the passenger window, the passenger can only close it. I've changed the switch but its still the same. It's an Italian thing.
-
I had a leaflet in the last last week from Alfa for the Guiletta the 1.4 multi-air engine produces 170 BHP and returns 54 MPG, if I was buying new that's where my money would be going.
-
Will try and make this again, was a good evening. Hopefully I can arrive in more style
-
It may be worth doing another reset, if you've cured a problem it could have screwed up the first reset.
-
I like your thinking.
-
It can be removed, Smaky will be able to give an idea as to whether its a good idea or not. Will be a lot cheaper than a lightweight flywheel. Or just get a 1.8 not much less power but, IMO, a more fun engine, I've had both

Is it a 2.0 ? If so what about taking off the balancer belt ?
-
Ditto
-
Each to their own, but I'm not a fan of the jutting chin look. That said you seem to be doing it well.
-
Mine's waiting for the special nurse to come and give it the kiss of life.
-
Shame to lose your 145, but as you said a pretty good valuation.
-
Its quite possible that you have doubled the number of members with a 166. If that is the case its a shame they're both broken
-
I have a brake squeal on my 156, after about 10 minutes of driving it starts, just after the squealing belt tensioner/guide has stopped. If I touch the brakes or pull the hand brake on a couple of clicks it stops.
-
Ouch, that doesn't look pretty. As far as I know the 166 is all good on the inside, I will get you to do an oil change whilst your sorting the rest of the stuff.
