I wouldn't trust a mobile mechanic with no specialist knowledge of Alfas to do the cam belt. I've watched Smaky do one and its not an easy straight forward job, it needs knowledge and cam locking tools to ensure the timing is spot on. It could turn out to be an expensive way to save £300.

It was only $2.1million, I'm sure you could have stretched to it. Lovely car and interesting history.

I have a Sele 147 and a 2.4JTD 156 SW, unfortunately sat on my drive SORNed because of an MOT fail. I replaced the 156 with a 320d tourer, but am thinking 156 Sele SW is the way to go, the Sele is a cracking system and the 2.0 twinny is such a good engine, lazy and relaxed when you want it to be be, but ready to go play at any time.

Worse than all of that is the fact the owner listens to Kiss , Piss, Fart FM and most commercial stations are all the bloody same, crap music endlessly repeated and "presented" by over excited morons who should all be shot.
