If I was having another bike at the moment I would have to get a new r6... Last bike I had was a sv1000s but had the seat lowered.. lol.. I only have short legs. Erm, Calimero, I know of a guy with no legs who owns a Ducati.... just saying.... Vard66 1 Report post Posted October 4, 2011 why did you sell it chris? Why does it look like its been sat in the same spot in your garage for... ohhhh... lets say 'months', in that last photo? I sold it because I had no money, and it had HG/possibly even cracked block issues. And that picture was taken in.... I dunno, May '07? The garage... I'm not sure where you're going with that jibe. Care to elaborate so I can tell you to piss off?

Alfa156Melb 9 Report post Posted January 3, 2012 Here's my baby... it pains me to say.. she's a hell of a lot more fun that the Alfa, and cheaper too *Running for cover* I unfortunately redesigned her a while ago.. If I wasn't spending so much on my Alfa, I'd be able to buy a new bike!

Rrascal 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2012 I own a 1974 Ducati 750GT, with a big bore kit @ 88mm, taking it to 905cc. Had cylinder head issue with it some time ago due to a previous numbnut going through the top of the inlet tract with a die grinder. Cockup was repaired, but cracked from weld to valve guide. It now has desmo heads from a Darmah. It's still awaiting available funds to take it to specialist for full top end shim job... Alfa has eaten the money...! Anjenha 44 Report post Posted January 14, 2012 In post reply (not quick reply) scroll to the bottom and there are two tabs on a grey box. Hit the add image tab and add a pic from your hard drive. There is another way to add pics from photobucket or Facebook but I don't know that way

Anjenha 44 Report post Posted January 15, 2012 Hubby had a 350 GTV for a bit. Only parallel twin made by Ducati 1969-ish
Rrascal 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2012 They actually built quite a few parallel twins, starting with a 175 racer in 1957, then 250cc, 350cc, 500cc and 700cc prototypes in the 60's. Apparently Ing. Taglioni wouldn't have anything to do with the design work for the road bikes... He already had his belt drive v-twin pantah design ready to go. The first release of both the 350 and 500cc in road form was in 1975 in GTL version. The GTV version had valve springs, and came in both 350 and 500cc. All this according to 'The Ducati Story', by Ian Falloon.

Anjenha 44 Report post Posted January 15, 2012 Soooo pretty... I like the 748r myself. Only because it was the first bike I ever fell in love with at about 15 I'd quite like a Honda Fireblade too...
