Could be a crack in the manifold. As it heats up it closes up an the noise lessens. Do a tissue paper test. If cracked, you could get it welded by a cast iron welder specialist or you could wire brush it and use thermosteel putty. Good for 2000°f.

What about anti roll bar bushes? Most upgrade to PU versions when worn.

My top mounts use to squeak until Smaky changed them. I suppose they could if the bushes are shot. Have you changed the anti roll bar droplinks?

If any of the items mentioned by Smaky fails/seizes, it could result in very expensive repairs, usually due to belts breaking teeth or strips of said belt getting caught up in other belts/pulleys etc. In other words, get it checked out.

GTs are known to go through ballasts. Should really be on more models though, as the ballasts are mounted socket up under the headlight so any moisture entering the headlight makes its way down.

Hi Alex, take it you mean me since I only just joined. GTA snorkel, part number 60677409 replaces the resonator box on the TS. Mounting kit I forget part numbers but was a pad, a spacer and a screw. Did it while I was replacing my radiator and yes, at the time I removed the bumper EDIT: found the parts list 60677409 - Snorkel 7663916 - Pad 60630491 - Spacer 15697604 - screw 12624101 - washer

I spent £15 and bought the parts for the GTA mod back in 2007. Still fitted and still in perfect condition and doesn't look like a Max Power feature car
