  1. Errr... (unlike cars,) no two women look the same, yet they do plastic surgery all the time to be noticed and be wanted (- the same w/ cars) People mod their cars to be different and stand out from the crowd and/or have a car to their own taste - everyone is different. P.S. in case of Knightley it'd be an good improvement ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. If you like that, here's one done with taste: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Please spare us... the only bit with some good taste in that car is this: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Unless the whole front has had a 'face lift', it looks like a 159! The corner (where the side panels meet w/ bonnet) is round on a 156! Meaning; they would have had to also change the front 3-4 panels, plus the lights... That may well be possible, but not financially viable. Thanks for sharing. 😄 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. by the way, what model is the black one? - I cannot tell!? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Yes, exactly😄 (the dark blue one) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. I didn't look properly... (I'm camping w/ iPhone) I thought it was Photoshopped I can see now in detail... I'm now convinced it could very well work! I just hope I don't have to take it to Poland to get it done! Will checked the eBay ones too. Cheers. P.S. this is mine, it looks like the 159's head lights except they're not bare. They have a plastic cover over them that's getting sun burnt and mucky/dusty inside (which cannot be opened for cleaning or I would have removed plastic shield all together). 9. Cheers. @ LJ_GQV: A facelift is not an option as both the hood & front bumpers & guards would have to be replaced. $$$. (it would perhaps be cheaper to re-fit the 156's rear door handles on a 159... (which is almost possible as 159 are wider) @ HarryP156: Mine is a 2006 model. Quite different from your photo (early 2000s?) I was told it may not work due to new electrics/new computer system on 159? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. No forms. When I mentioned (over phone) sending a letter of demand the council put me in direct contact with their insurer/broker. Who sent me a their letter to sign prior to payment. Basically just saying I agreed to settle for the X amount and would not ask for more cash. Only then they post me a check. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. It requires lots of patience and follow ups. Don't just sit back waiting for the payout to show up in your bank account... I got 1200 - 1600 out off council before... It seems it all falls on "how good" your LETTER of DEMAND is! 28 days after my 'demand', I still had to call council's insurer every 3 days or so, until they posted me a check! Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. Hi there, newbie here (I'm not sure where to post correctly, so here it goes) I inherit a 2006 Alfa 156, which I love (couldn't justify the price and size of the 159 to drive short distance to work)... Anyway, my son also "forbids" me to sell it anytime, cause he loves the rear door handles! Jokes aside, what I really love on the 159, are the aggressive looks of the front headlights and since my 156 has a cracked light I thought I could upgrade to the 159s? If not, what's stopping me from removing the front (80's style) shield of the 156 headlights? Is it possible, wise or dumb? Please enlighten me. Cheers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
