alfamack 1 Report post Posted July 12, 2011 You lot know fuck'all Series 3 33 Cloverleaf. Granted, it's the only Alfa I've ever owned, but that makes my choice the best as I can argue that no other has ever got me going in the same way.
Symon 1 Report post Posted July 12, 2011 I prefer the shape of the 916 Spider, although as a car it isn't as good as the later one.
NineOneSix 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2011 Drivability the 33 but for looks and grunt it'll have to be a 916 gtv and with a turbo goes like stink
Anjenha 44 Report post Posted July 12, 2011 I love the look of the 946, but it is fricking HUMUNGO.... I love the phase 3 916 spider face, But I love the tear of ya pants with my teeth growling front end of the brera/946 Spider hmm
Gaz 29 Report post Posted July 13, 2011 Regardless of cost? 8C Spider surely?
WTI 59 Report post Posted July 14, 2011 Phase 3 GTV/spider does it for me looks a tad dated at the back though

Starkers 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2011 I prefer the shape of the 916 Spider, although as a car it isn't as good as the later one. Yes 916 does it for me - I'd have to at least sit in one to make a judgement as to whether the 946 is "better" *raises eyebrow*
V6Hughes 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2011 The 946 is gorgeous but not quite as goodlooking as the GTV which IS the best looking alfa ever (if it has the aero pack)
Morgan 46 Report post Posted July 18, 2011 I'd be inclined to agree with SM. The only thing I don't like about the Brera is the rear-end, which was sorted in conversion to a drop-top. The 946 Spider is indeed a gorgeous-looking car.
Rewe 8 Report post Posted July 27, 2011 Hmm, recent Alfa contenders: 916 - I like it a lot (obviously) but it is not perfect from either the front or the back. MiTo - face like a startled frog! 8C - A lot of cash to pay for a car with a MiToesque nose. Not a contender. Giulietta = new Astra! Nuff said 159 - Pretty good, but what 4 door saloon is really "beautiful" GT - Not perfect, but pretty good. Extremely tempted by the reasonable economy of a derv-engined one. Brera - stunning in every way, especially the Beyonce bum! Red with black leather or black with tobacco leather. 946 Spider - it is gorgeous. In fact, it is just a little too pretty for my taste so I'm more likely to have a Brera when and if I finally get rid of the GTV. A Busso powered GTV was a car I just had to own once and sadly for my finances, a Brera is in exactly the same category.
MrsAlfa 58 Report post Posted July 27, 2011 Hmm, recent Alfa contenders: 8C - A lot of cash to pay for a car with a MiToesque nose. Not a contender. It's the only car I know that makes me want to strip off, throw myself on the bonnet and have sex ... just sayin'

What I originally said was: 8C - Not a lot of cash to pay for a truly great car . The only contender. P.S. Morgan won't be round in 20 minutes - its got a manual gearbox and he can't drive it. P.P.S. Mrs A - what would an honest but ever so slightly tatty GTV do for you?

Morgan 46 Report post Posted July 28, 2011 P.S. Morgan won't be round in 20 minutes - its got a manual gearbox and he can't drive it. No it hasn't. The 8C is fitted with a 6-speed transaxle 'box with flappy paddles. And for your information, I CAN drive a manual.
