  1. This is one of those enjoyable cases where I can argue in detail the relative merits of two cars I have never even seen in real life before, let alone driven or (don't make me laugh) owned. I agree with Munky, that the 959 was extremely accomplished technically, but unfortunately it's hideous looking. All massive fat arsed hanging out the rear uglyness. The F40 is no E-type Jag in the looks department, but of the two function-over-form eighties ugly uber-cars, it would be my choice.
  2. Yep There was a big article on it in a recent edition of EVO mag. Apparently Vauxhaul have now cottoned onto it, and it's now a semi-official factory skunk-works project. Still not entirely sure I'd pop down to Tescos in it though, even if it is still street legal!
  3. Welcome aboard Steve
  4. I like this thread! Keep em coming!

    Oi oi!

Welcome! Perhaps it's time for a "currently driving an Alfa, but had a nightmare with my last German car" lounge??
  6. Quite right. Way to much money goes into engine development for that to make financial sense. Look at how VAG squeeze relatively few engine types into hundreds of models...
  7. Relatively cheap as chips too (probably because nobody likes them ? )
  8. As found on Pistonheads http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3147463.htm
  9. No its too big and wouldn't fit on the drive Besides which, it's crushing an Alfa 156....
  10. A bloke I know had one of those with an aftermarket Tom Walkinshaw supercharger. About 560 HP. Could see off an E60 M5. That'll do you!
