  1. Track changes at Singapore. http://www.espn.co.u...ory/124973.html
  2. He's Lotus's first choice apparently. I'd like to see him remain in F1 tbh.
  3. Who knows....hence the 'possibly!'
  4. Think he'll got to Lotus, Sauber or possibly Mclaren.
  5. The Monza race didn't disappont - a pleasing result for Ferrari P2 and 4 at their home race but Vettel looks to be running away with the WDC which they're only too aware of. F138 looking competitive, at least, as it did in Spa. Some critised Ferrari leaving Alonso out too long before pitstop but there's no guarantee he'd have won anyway, although both Vettel and Webber had gearbox issues (hence Webber couldn't overtake Alo). The shouts of 'Alonso' from the Tifosi were something else....no other fans in the world get behind their driver/team quite like they do. They also boo (Vettel in this case) like no other fans. Lewis drove a blinding race.....edge of the seat stuff to move up like he did after not qualifying. Massa himself announced last night he would not be at Ferrari next season and Kimi to Ferrari was finally officially confirmed by Ferrari today.....at last. Two strong drivers/personalities together (which could prove v. interesting!) So excited for next season.
  6. Can't wait to see 'Rush' movie.
  7. After one of the worst kept 'secrets' this season in F1 was reavealed yesterday (Ricciardo driving next season for RBR), Christain Horner today said he won't be treated like a No. 2 driver at RBR....yeah right! http://www.espn.co.uk/redbull/motorsport/story/123057.html
  8. Looks a great day out......but too far for me.
  9. That was an excellent race.,,,,,the last few laps were incredible - the most exciting I've seen for a long time. So brave of Maquez to still carry on after his dislocated shoulder. Still a big Rossi fan, but he's a close 2nd.
  10. A magnificant race - action packed as it usually is. Driver of the day for me was Fernando.....9th to 2nd some achievement on a track like Spa. So pleased the Greenpeace protesters who parachuted in for the occasion didn't ruin things. (You may not know what I'm on about if you don't have Sky!)
  11. Yes, 'silly season' as it's rightly called. Stefano has said he wants Felipe to stay but will be dependent on his results in the remaining races. So much gossip the last few weeks - one report that Seb will go to Ferrari and Alo to RBR (really can't see that happening). I'd quite like to see Kimi back at Ferrari - what a strong team him and Alo would make (although can't see him seamlessly slotting into No.2 driver slot), probably why Luca is said not to be keen on the idea. So many other drivers named as contenders for Felipe's seat - JEV or possibly Bianch would be my choice if not Kimi
  12. Oh dear....Sebs new hair is rather 'bootylicious!'
  13. Well, Ferrari are traditionally very good at Spa - they're confident, hoping they'll be strong in both qualifying and the race. The tyre changes have proved a challenge (both themselves and Lotus were main teams who didn't want them) but if you look at Hungary, their pace was pretty good but weren't where they wanted to be on both soft and medium tyres. The tyre changes that went ahead hurt Ferrari and they know the importance of how to react, because the structure of these tyres is until the end of the season. Stefano was quoted as saying "Then a lot will depend on the choice of compounds for the races at the end of the season. It is something we need to analyse carefully - as it seems Mercedes has solved the issue that it was suffering massively in the races."
  14. Kimi probable as won four times at Spa before but it's one of those races anything can happen - 75% chance of a safety car. Would love to see Fernando win. Ferrari have had ongoing issues with their windtunnel amongst other things plus their one lap pace is not good compared to Mercedes/RBR, yet still Fernando has still managed to win two races as he makes the best of whatever he's given. Hoping for a nice, clean start.....not like last year.
  15. Seen this a whole year later! Oh, do you? Well, I'm F1 crazy, baby. Yes, footie my second fav sport.
  16. Expected at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2015 now apparently.
  17. This was released recently. Honda has created a video tribute to Ayrton. They took the actual data from Senna’s 1989 McLaren-Honda to create an audio/visual lap of Suzuka. Breathtaking. http://www.motorspor...na-suzuka-1989/
  18. Looks a great day and prices reasonable. Sadly no, much as though I love Brooklands....too far for me.

    Hi

    Hey Dave.....welcome to AD.
  20. My 147 made the same noise a while ago...brake dust! After a good clean, all was well.
  21. All done - (Hubby-pie did it for me) including other light as went also. He used his credit card for something other than buying me presents for once!
  22. As some of you know, I went from a brand new BMW 320 Coupe to my 147. It was a shock at first to drive, to say the least but I feel 'at one' with the car, let of junctions more and I'm not the Princess I was driving the Coupe (mostly!) Btw, I've always said 'beemer' - never heard anyone say 'bimmer' before (except a few fair folk on here).
