    So, Erm....

Hi Marko You still looking after my 145?
  3. Welcome aboard, good to see you online again, still cleaning cars ?
  4. Can't help on the refurb, but good to see you online again.
  5. This is the one I went for, seems easy to use, I have nothing to compare it with but I didn't destroy my car using it, so that must be a good thing. http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polishing ... d_876.html
  6. I have a set of Teledials to fit a 145/146, they are in fairly good condition, 2 of the tyres are legal and the other 2 aren't.
  7. SRP will amke your arm ache and last a few washes before the fillers that hide the swirls come out. I used to try and polish by hand but found it almost impossible, so I bought myself a rotary polisher. I soon realised that it's not a fire breathing monster and with some practice the results can be stunning.
  8. If the tensioner goes then it's a racket and the belt knobs off, parts cost £160 to replace tensioner, idler and belt. Fingers crossed it last until I get the cam belt done or sell it.
  9. Not on these though. It's probably the tensioner or idler bearing on the way out. If it went what damage could be caused ? If I'm going to keep it I will require your expertise for the cam belt, etc. I have a friend who has a nice big drive and he makes good coffee too
  10. My 156, 2.4 JTD, squeals like a pig when I start it up and turn to full lock. I'm pretty sure its the aux belt being a bit loose and the power steering pump is added extra load and causing the squeal, it also does it at tick over with the AC on but as the AC is useless I don't use it, just open the window. My car really needs its cam belt changing, but due to lack of funds and me not being sure if I want to keep the car it hasn't been done yet. My question is, is it possible to tighten the aux belt to stop it squealing and if not is it likely to cause any problems ? This only happens for about 30 seconds then all is good again.

    K9d logging in.

I came here from the other place and will dip a toe in the water to see how it feels. I hoping that I can make statements or express opinions without them being twisted around by people who should know better.
