A KIRK 1 Report post Posted March 5, 2013 Thought I'd have a look round here and say hello, been without an alfa for 8 months until yesterday when I sold the saab and bought another Alfa 156 this time I bought a 2002 plate sportswagon 2.4 JTD 150bhp. Needs a bit fo work doing to it, but for a diesel I'm impressed, as I;ve always had the V6 versions in the past, but just couldn't justify running another V6. I'm sure I'll be soon looking for advice on changing the cambelt, thermostat and any other issues that crop up, oh and the annoying oil level sensor. Cheers Andrew

A KIRK 1 Report post Posted March 5, 2013 ha ha, nope think I'll keep my turno hose for now. I've already cleared 4 stored codes on the ECU oh and an air bag code too. Luckily I kept alfadiag on one of my laptops, just in case I ever bought another Alfa. First thing on the list to do jobs in the damn bottom wishbone, I hate doing bottom ones there a pain in rear, guess I better order one tonight. Cheers for the welcome

Have fun Andrew, and as you will discover, what Smaky doesn't know about the workings of an Alfa can be written on the back of a stamp with a king size marker pen.
