Sunday Morning Boot Badge Replacement...
K9d replied to Starbright's topic in Bodywork/Detailing Help
Machine polishers aren't the fire breathing dragons some people make them out to be, use them with sensible caution to start with and you'll soon get the hang of them. I use this http://gtechniq.com/shop/3s-for-aircraft/polishing/p1-nanocomposite-polish/ on mine and it seems to be idiot proof, must be if I can use it. -

Cleaning them does become an obsession, I would recommend Bilt Hamber for the clay bar, it can be lubricated with just water which works out better in the long run. SRP is good stuff, but when the bug really bites you'll need to get a machine polisher. -
Still less combined power than a GTA.

You'll all be blown into the weeds by my 2.5 Turbo.

Maybe if my 156 dies I can swap the engine into the passion wagon, will need to lower the gear ratio though.
-
In my passion wagon everything is at least 5 hours away, 30bhp per ton doesn't = fast.

If I saw them behind a gate your letters would be going back to the sorting office.

Jeez, were only getting a Hercules not sure that will be up to the job

I'm getting a bit nervous about all these dogs, if they get sniff of the fact I'm a postman I'm dead meat.

Three's a crowd, but I guess Kathy wouldn't mind a night under canvas, I'll just go ask her. Ouch! Seems I was wrong

An hour , he's slacking.

Alfadriver across the shoulders would be a bit to chavvy/footbally for me. I'm thinking more a silhouette or outline of an Alfa with Alfadriver.com printed underneath and perhaps something humorous. This one would appeal to me, with Alfadriver.com printed below the picture. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Evolution-of-Man-Alfa-Romeo-147-t-shirt-/370880716402?pt=UK_Men_s_T_Shirts&var=&hash=item565a369e72

Good points, we are in danger of become our own little niche group. I know some people are going to Brooklands for the Auto Italia day, that would be a good place to have some flags and perhaps flyers that people can take.

Very similar to my pair, a 156 2.4 JTD Black and a 147 Sele Silver.

I had the same issue with Skydrive, photobucket was the answer for me.

I didn't need the handbrake in that situation, between parking it on its side and the Citroen van it wasn't going anywhere.

Just don't park on hills

I don't think it likes to be left in gear or not, it can be left in gear if you wish. If you give the lever a tap to the right when you stop it will knock it into neutral, I find if I leave mine in gear it can delay me for a few seconds because it won't start until it can put itself into neutral.
