my mate had a brown 1.6 primera, the middle pedal stopped doing its job going down a steep hill, im sure you can guess what happened to it the car he hit didnt come off too badly but he reshaped his quite alot

loads of 156 sw's round watford but as soon as i go out in my car they all disappear :9 when im in the van they are everywhere

It might be different in a different GTA, i drove a mates 147 GTA when i got the headunit fitted in mine and it felt different to mine, felt like it picked up quicker so maybe try a couple of different cars (even if you don't want to buy them it might be worth giving a few cars a try )

is it much different from your other 156? (thats a 2.5 V6 innit?) i didnt even test drive mine (or start it up) before i got it as it wasn't roadworthy and the battery was knackered . i bought it just on what it looked like, travelled 600 miles altogether to get it and coming from a 1.6 147 it scared the shit out of me i nearly took the back off another car on the 1st roundabout as i wasn't used to pulling away with that amount of power before and then when i wheelspun it out of the shell garage i got a few looks from passers by still, nearly had it a year now and i really don't know what i couldor would change it for

i want a bike but its hard enough being sensible in my car so i know what i would do if i got a bike and it wouldn't be anything sensible

fair enough, makes sense if you already have 1 147 anyway both have a massive grin factor though when you 1st get in and drive off. i still remember Joss giggling when he went in mine the day we found his GTA

About the volume, i had to have mine at about 30 so it was a reasonable sound level (not loud but not quiet) 50 was about as high as i ever had it though and that was super loud the new headunit in mine though doesnt go above 4 when im just driving around and 20 is super loud now i only use the radio when im trying to save petrol so i cant hear the engine you shouldn't need a radio/music though in a GTA it plays its own music

Would it have to be a 156 if it was the GTA? if you're looking at the GT im sure the number of doors isn't a worry so what about a 147 GTA? ive never driven 1 but ive sat in 1 and theres not much headroom in the front (compared to mine) looks like even less in the back, never been in a 156 so cant compare them but even my mate who came in my car said about the headroom

regarding the facelift, might be worth speaking to Joss about that, i think its bloody expensive though but looks good

ive got a couple of mates who both had the GT V6 and performance wise they are near as damn it the same as a GTA. there really isnt much in it between them . i was looking at GT's when i got the GTA but i had always wanted a 147 GTA since i had my other 147 and the GT's were dearer anyway so, after chatting to a few GTA owners (ok they were 147's, but still) i had a GTA follow me to a meet and it just made me want to get out of its way its the same with 156, when you get 1 tanking up behind you on the motorway they both just look angry . the GT never done that to me as they just look like a 'normal' GT. both the 147 and GT are 'sleepers' though as it seems nobody expects them to have that engine in them but the 156 always seems more 'acceptable' that it has the V6 in it for some reason (i wrote it smaller so it would fit on a postcard ) And to answer your question......GTA

I like this man's thinking, i 'could' have saved a shit load of cash if i had kept my old car. Instead i got this 1 and well, everything i do now is expensive but i didn't think about that when i bought it, not sure i could handle 5k on insurance though
