Ohh, shiny. Do they appear after every post, or just the first in a thread? Once (first post) per thread would be my choice.
  3. If you've got a GTV I'm sure you'll want to put a photo or two up, have a look in http://www.alfadriver.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=46 section and pop one in.
  4. A welcome appearance from that dress.
  5. Change coal to tin and pasties then, yeah.
  6. 1/32 Welsh, what's that in Metric. The correct spelling of Cardiff is, "City used by the English to run the affairs of Wales, steal the coal, increase the house prices by buying all the houses to live in them a fortnight a year."
  7. I guess the picture helped a bit? I bet your first post was "wavy flag"
  8. Normal service is resumed, behold the return of Y Ddriagh Goch.
  9. This chap has a familiar sounding name?

    so.......

Any former AO Trolls seem to be fair game for a banning, after the TrollHunters have had their unfettered fun with them first.
  11. bit like your undergarments then....pink and full of an alien substance.
  12. Like my emergency back-up car. The splendid SAAB 9000 Carlsson. Owned it for just over 12 months, 2.0 Turbo with extra special Aero seats. No traction control, stability computer, airbags or cat. Good old fashioned 90s motoring, from the pre-Gatso and ANPR age, and sub 40p/litre fuel.
  13. Just to bring a little more familiarity to the thread listings, now about those socks....
  14. Go for the 75. Is it a proper one or a Twin Spark?
  15. Been like that 12 months or more, made a track day at Oulton Park more interesting than it should have been, is it fourth or second I'm changing into at 80mph?
  16. Putting a Cloverleaf on a non-Cloverlead car is akin to "M" badges on a 316 BMW, Cloverleaf, or Quadrifoglio, badges denote high-end in comfort and engine size variants of Alfa Romeo cars, but previously denoted Alfa Romeo racing cars in the pre-Second-World-War era. The image first appeared in 1923 when Ugo Sivocci presented one prior to the start of the 14th Targa Florio as a good luck token to the team. This became the symbol of competition Alfas, denoting higher performance. Some modern Alfas wear a cloverleaf badge which is typically a green four leaf clover on a white background (Quadrifoglio Verde), but variants of blue on white have been recently observed as well. Having owned three (33 1.7 Green Cloverleaf Veloce, and two 75 3.0 V6 Cloverleafs one Veloce one not) they are not the same as the non-cloverleafs...but I'd be hard-pressed to spot the difference on a 75
  17. Due to the unique way ALFA Driver is funded, don't forget to put "other online ALFA Forums are available, but you can't swear or mention special cuddles" in the small print. Who's going to be first to put a AD flyer on a car at an AO, or even AROC meet. NADS of stone for that one.
  18. That's why I wanted an AO mod to do it, if they ever turn up.... Does that mean you can't copy "Munky's Guide to Banana Eating" from AO and drop it here? I know copying other peoples posts is a bit off, but your own? V6Jon/NomNom/0of0/1of1 has got posts all over the web...such knowlege could be distilled into AD, a more potent forum. ALFA Driver 100% Proof, 100% of the time.
  19. Welcome fella, I think we'll have none of the "I pay more than him so my opinion is worth more" type stuff on here. You signature is the right attitude to have too.
  20. If so, hello, in the interest of inter-board relations, is it possible/legal to migrate posts/threads from AO to here? Whilst the level of chat at AO has gone a bit off recently, the technical resource, provided by members is great. This is not without precedent, there's a lot of 156.net stuff posted in the 147/156/GT lounge, for instance. I think this cross-over would be beneficial to all. I have also noticed that some banned from AO, (with great technical expertise) or their names at least, have arrived here. The Classic Buying Guide for each model or Common Problems with...could be stickies in the Tech Lounge.
  21. "ALFA Driverdear? Never heard of it, I'm a proud member of ALFAOwner A man called Smiffy said what about his wife and kids? Well he is very naughty, I'd never want to sell you my sweet angel of light."
  22. Smaky is that the real Smaky? Glad to have you aboard the board. I think it's at the gearstick end (ie underneath but above the exhaust). It goes into all gears OK, it just get hard to move the stick into the correct horizontal plane to push it to fifth or sixth, reverse with the collar up is no problem at all.
