2spark 6 Report post Posted January 7, 2012 For me the 156 front grille has always been a little too bling. So I've matt blacked the chrome on the grille but added some chrome strips instead. Put some tint over the louvres to darken them a bit and flyeyed the headlights and fitted tinted fogs. Won't be to everyones taste but I like it

jhc 28 Report post Posted January 7, 2012 Its crying out for colour coded bumpstrips and matt black alloys tbh. And lowering.
2spark 6 Report post Posted January 8, 2012 Going to rattle can the alloys next then maybe the bump strips. Would like to lower it but not sure if I want to spend the money. really should sort out the front wishbones and cracked windscreen first. And it could do with new tyres at least on the front

WTI 59 Report post Posted January 29, 2012 Yeah just remove your number plate and the plate holders are usually just fastened to bumper with screws. Then screw plate to bumper simple.Always thought plate holders looked shite

2spark 6 Report post Posted February 5, 2012 I did not know that. They seem quite popular on MX-5s. I'm guessing it's to do with reflective properties?
