Selespeed Actuator Wont Work

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I seriously need help here.

I started out with the problem that the selespeed shows an error and it wont get in to gear. (selespeed system error) (1769 pump relay error)

i started with changing the relay, NO LUCK

then i changed the battery, NO LUCK

then i changes the actuator Accumulator, NO LUCK

then i took of the actuator and changed a throttle sensor that looked broken, NO LUCK

I used multiecuscan to depressurize the system and used it to recalibrate the system ( i think I did it right)

now the gear display is just blinking N, and it wont start at all.

Im pretty lost here (my wife is killing me for buying it, and driving for a week before it broke Down....no kidding confused.gif )

need help bigtime for getting my selespeed working Again

147 selespeed 2001

First thing I'd do is disconnect the battery, short the WIRES together and then reconnect the battery. That should allow it to start again.

Then check the fluid level is correct.

Next check the clutch length on MES.

If it continues then and everything seems fine then it may well be a clutch replacement, which at 12 years wouldn't surprise me.
