Any help greatly appreciated, I have 2001 147 selespeed my engine control system control failure light came on , I got home turned engine off restarted was very sluggish starting, took it back out in city mode 1st and 2nd fine when reved would not go into 3rd had to do this manually, thanks

No one is writing my alpie off, it was like hiting a tank, was at a red light hit me about 30 just a little dent fixable, said was not looking where he eas going, I think I have been written off though,

Here is the update on my alfa, I now have all my gears all working, It was the gear lever, a new one in and all is well, or was till a young lad decided to run into the back of me yesterday, hope this helps some one having the same problems. And thanks to all who helped

The alfa now with Roger at Peak Alha having a new gear lever, hope this fixes the no gear fiasco, will keep updated

Here we are again, took my 147 to alfa mechanics, had the full diagnostic etc and was told the brake pedal switch, I picked it up drove home all ok all gears changed no problems, ran fine started up went into gear a couple of days later back to the dreaded neutral. Give the gear stick a good knock will go into gear, now back at garage, Any ideas!!!!

Hi some one has mentioned it may be the sensors PF2C on the acuator for the clutch position, gear selection and engagement, could this be worth a try,

Now theres a thought but I already broke, Might push it to end of road get aa to tow me down I off work next 4 weeks I can try pushing

I still have no gears, I had my Alfa towed to a garage had a diagnostic done and hey presto had all gears back, drove home all ok changed gears as should and parked up, Went this morning stuck back in neutral. Getting a new brake switch this afternoon see if that helps, Any more suggestions greatly appreciated, Thanks

I have tried it yesterday just kept saying unable to connect to ECU, I will have another go, Do you know what Iam looking for, Thanks
