Water Sloshing Gt

Recommended Posts

went for a short run in Bella tonight and heard water sloshing behind the dash!

I have guessed its in the scuttle panel below the windscreen, so my questions are-

a) how easy is it to remove the plastics below the windscreen? any special tools or things to be careful of?

B) where are the drain holes and what's the best tool to clear them with. I don't have a compressor so air isn't an option. I don't want to scratch the paint in the channels which will inevitably rust and cause problems later on.

any help lads and lasses?

thanks MB

Even easier than that, open the bonnet, look about 8 inches below the brake fluid reservior, you'll see a 2 inch diamtere rubber hose, squeeze the end of it and await the soggy mess to pour from it.

One day, we're going to find a question about Alfas that Smaky can't answer.

It won't be today... But one day!

Well no ones ever told me why the turning circle on 147/GT so fucking bad?

Why did they make it so ridiculous?

the answer was right, thanks smaky, the only difference was that I had to stick my finger in it to clear the leaves and other shite from it, it was not pleasant. Anyhoo I had a look and to get the plastic off the passenger side is 1/2 dozen torx screws and I won't need the remove the wiper arms so that's Saturdays job, having a good clear out.

thanks for the assistance.

right so on to the pressing matter of an Alfa related question you can't answer....

PS gerbils are quite nice if baked slowly...

A Peruvian delicacy.

Good enough for you to do your own version of the McCain "Daddy Guinea Pig or Chips Cat" advert?
