Aphrodite's due a 'big' service. The cambelt was done late last year, but the spark plugs will need changing, oil and filters, could do with my wheel bearings and bushes checking as I've got egg shaped tyres on at the moment rattling things about more than normal. (there was a good reason for my free tyres) New tyres are needed on the front. Brake lines exploded a few months ago, and though I have new ones I want them looked at again, to be sure they're ok. But if I'm nice to my mechanic I'llonly pay about £100-£150 for the lot

  20. Just Remembered! Another option is furniture polish. It's less damaging to your seals than silicone or WD. Spray it on a cloth, then rub onto the seals. Don't spray directly as you'll make a big ol' mess! Works pretty much like the WD does, apparently. Again I don't know this for sure as I have never had frozen windows. Windows and doors do not freeze, it is the seals and rubber, so you could check them for cracks etc and get them replaced if necessary. This will help too
