Angelom 7 Report post Posted June 16, 2014 Smakyyyyyy, I need help again please. Don't have reverse and even gears since yesterday. Drove home yesterday with no problems or any sign of a problem at all. Half an hour later no reverse to get out of downhill driveway. Checked reservoir level, all fine, a little lower than normal, but still fine, checked all relays, still no reverse. I can hear the pump priming. Left it overnight with battery disconnected, still no reverse or even gears. Connected to trial version MES tonight, no errors on the gearbox. The following errors on the engine though: P0704, P1555 and P0235. PLEASE HELP! If at first you do succeed, don't look too surprised
leongsoon 8 Report post Posted June 17, 2014 Try disconnecting then reconnecting the Selespeed connector beside the battery. It's not a permanent fix, but will hopefully get you out of the spot for now!
Angelom 7 Report post Posted June 17, 2014 Done that already If at first you do succeed, don't look too surprised
Angelom 7 Report post Posted June 17, 2014 Update: Drove to work this morning, second attempt at 2nd gear, everything back to normal, all gears +reverse fine. Drove 35kms, all fine. Stopped at work, again no reverse or even gears. Will see what happens this afternoon when I go home If at first you do succeed, don't look too surprised

Smaky 73 Report post Posted June 17, 2014 How old is your battery?
Angelom 7 Report post Posted June 17, 2014 I'll check, but doubt it's older than a year If at first you do succeed, don't look too surprised
Angelom 7 Report post Posted June 17, 2014 It's smaller than the last one though, the local shop didn't have the same size I had in but assured me that it would be fine If at first you do succeed, don't look too surprised
Angelom 7 Report post Posted June 17, 2014 I replaced the accumulater about a year and a half ago, the pump brushes a few months ago, so doubt it could be the pump again If at first you do succeed, don't look too surprised

Smaky 73 Report post Posted June 18, 2014 I would say internal gearbox fault, but if it's working then leave it alone.
Angelom 7 Report post Posted June 18, 2014 Everthing still fine, I also rember now that due to heavy rains the past few days, I drove through a big puddle with water spraying all over... Maybe a connection somewhere that got wet and dried again afterwards? If at first you do succeed, don't look too surprised
classic 2 Report post Posted June 20, 2014 (edited) I'd say upgrade to full version of MES, clean or replace all three potmeters, and run final calibration Sent fra min SM-G900F via Tapatalk Edited June 20, 2014 by classic
