Viscous Green Liquid Leak

Recommended Posts

as I am posting this, I think I know what the problem is...

it's a viscous green liquid forming beneath the battery on my 146...

probably coolant leak.

what do you think?

p.s.: how do you upload images???

Not sure on the liquid but to upload photo's i use the tapatalk forum app on my phone or put the photo's into photobucket (anything like that will work) & then copy/paste the link codes & the photos appear in full

I can't see pics on that site because of the ban, but I would thenk if it's green it's the aircon pipe under the battery which is split.

My thoughts on AO and those who own it are well known, sadly the few (painter girl, bobda, autolusso, pud237, davidc.....) on there have lost the benefit for the many, but there is still here though.

As for the green, that is definately A/C r134a gas/die, and it pretty much shows you where the leak is.

sorry for bringing the subject back in public, but as you surely know, you were a big loss to the forum, and I never understood why.

about the thread topic, well, it's really a shame, cause it was refilled not 3 months ago when it had totally new shockers... and the people in charge were supposed to check the leak first... today just spent a lot a money fixing an alternator and a power steering hose leak and, just after, spoted this... is it a diy job? (I guess not...)

before I forget, thank you very much, Smaky!

somewhat relived, at least it is not something needed for the alfie to run...
