K9d 108 Report post Posted October 29, 2012 As per the title, my handbrake light is staying on, it dims when I release the handbrake but doesn't go out. I've taken of the cover and had a look at the switch it looks OK, is this problem a sign of issues else where or just a duff switch ?

K9d 108 Report post Posted October 29, 2012 Spot on, thank you. It was probably low because of having new pads fitted on the rear and them bedding in, I will keep an eye on it though.
Smaky 73 Report post Posted October 29, 2012 Check the front right wheel arch brake pipework, otherwise it may be the brakelines which pass over the fuel tank.

K9d 108 Report post Posted November 11, 2012 Work out pads too? Is that mean't to say "worn out" ? If so the answer is no because there almost new, you fitted them.
Smaky 73 Report post Posted November 12, 2012 Odd, so where is it leaking from exactly?
K9d 108 Report post Posted November 12, 2012 Don't know, it was part of the MOT fail so I haven't seen it myself. Fortunately the knackered upper wish bone passenger side is one that they changed last year so that is getting replaced for no charge, their parts supplier was getting a rocket as I left there today.
