Hi folks.

I'm just about to hand over some cash for a 147 2.0TS Selespeed.

 

Guess what? There be problems with that there box.... Much forum searching me thinks.

 

I also own a Fiat Multipla 1.9 JTD ELX which I love, so im no stranger to Italian "quirkyness".

 

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself to you chaps.

Oh I've not sorted it just yet lol. I've posted a question in the relevant section soooo hopefully that'll shed some light.

Alfas are a new(ish) breed to me and im getting the 147 for peanuts so it won't be too horrendous to cut my teeth on.

Thanks for the welcomes btw much more friendly than other Alfa Owners forums I've registered on. ;-)

Just seen your thread, smaky's the man for the job you'll be getting good advice & have it fixed in no time

 

I loved both my 147's, they are great cars but im on Alfa number 3 so fancied a change . Have a look around the forum, theres plenty going on & if you fancy it there may even be a meet near you soon to come & chat with a few people & join in the fun

As she won't be my main car she'll be a project to keep me entertained over the winter, spring and summer.

I was thinking maybe a restoration/project thread?

Im in Dover, Kent so Im sure there'll be a few events going on and I may well bring the black barge with me (my Multipla) .
