keithyboy 1 Report post Posted December 15, 2011 A nice man in Croatia wishes to buy my boot badge. How do I get the bugger off?
LJ_GQV 115 Report post Posted December 15, 2011 Is there a plastic cover on the inside of the boot? Mine has a cover which pops off you can get a small ratchets up to reach the nuts & undo them then pull the badge off. (i think, can't remember exactly)

Smaky 73 Report post Posted December 21, 2011 Okey dokey, spin the badge, remove the 2 blanking plugs to expose the 2 security bolts, either drill into them with a 3.2mm and use an easy out to remove them OR dremel a slot across and hope a screwdriver can get enough bite to loosen them, then pop the whole lock out and disconnect the rod behind, now the lock is off you can remove the E clip which retains the badge and then pull the badge off the lock making sure you don't lose the 2 springs and the o-ring. Personally I always polish the area behind the lock before refitting it with 2 new security bolts.
