Zorst mods..

Recommended Posts

Iv'e been trying to get a new bespoke exhaust for the MiTo...

E-mailed several suppliers etc and not got very far, in fact not even a

bloody reply

I'm trying to get a twin outlet job, not just a twin tailpipe but another

oval outlet to the right hand side for aesthetics..

Had a word with my local indie Alfa workshop and he reckoned he could

get a mate to cut a hole in the rear box and graft another pipe to it

with another oval tailpiece attached...

Now here's the rub... I have reservations as to whether it will have a diverse

effect regarding back pressure, resonance etc that may affect performance

by cutting into the box as such.

My mode of thinking apart from a dummy tailpiece would be to graft a pipe

to the actual rear pipe and not the box

Any thoughts or advice ?

have you sent a e-mail to http://www.rsfabrications.com/? they know their stuff and although a bit on expensive side, but you get what you pay for, seen their work on my mates mini cosworth - its flawless, if anyone will do it right they will

Try powerflow, they can do custom zorts and are a national company so shouldn't be too far from you!

I would suggest that too, depending how far you wish to go then sports cat would be a good move too, try to keep the back pressure though as the little engines need it to get the power up.
