If you click on the username (either in a thread or on the members list) that you want to PM, then click on the contact tab, then PM.

 

You can also get to it through the 'user control panel'

Tried to do this and it seems stuck in outbox. Presume recipients is full if that happens then??

 

Good site BTW, and nice to see some of the knowledgeable ones on here too that were banned from AO, which has gone downhill somewhat of late alas. Pity . . . . . .

They'll stay in your outbox until the recipient is back online.

you can also click the little button underneath the users details in any post, its under the avatar etc on the right with 'pm' on it

 

That way it will add the thread title as the pm subject and quote the relevant post in the pm too.
