  1. ok thought I would check good job i did thank you
  2. Hi Smaky as ive got the heads in bits on the dinning room table is there anything I can do with my Dremmel to improve the Inlet /outlet in the way of slight porting at all . If so what would you recommend. I've thought after looking at it that maybe marring up the inlet plate and the ports in the head as in matching the holes as theren is quite a difference between the two diameters the plate having a much smaller hole than the inlet on the head. Would really like your input Cheers. THe exhaust port on the head is smaller than the diameter of the inside of the gasket too.
  3. you're not saving anything by not changing it if as Smaky says it's on its way out you'll end up stuck if it won't start . these are not that expensive and not terrible to change.

  13. Hi don't suppose any body has got one of these M12 x 1.5 (18-20mm long) blanking grub screw floating around somewhere for my oil channel. PLEASE :Black Eye: No it's not a very short wheel bolt
  14. What about these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Headlights-DRL-Look-Alfa-Romeo-156-AR100002-/201061187259?pt=UK_AudioTVElectronics_GPSSystems_GPSSystems&hash=item2ed02e3ebb
  15. Come on someone must want this it had no other issues before the engine let go and if you want you can have the original engine which needs a crank and bearings sorted the head is good , its in bits so you can inspect the damage. Just the leather and satnav must make this good for spares not to mention all the rest.
  16. Smaky that thing under the cam shaft was just a plug for the oil way but all sorted now.

    Gt Jtd

Yeah the jts seems to have a few niggles and it seems to hit the values in the 156s Jtd not perfect but seems more a matter of the egr which seems easy enough to sort out. Turbo hoses seem to be another thing that suffer.
  18. Anything is possible just a matter of time and money the ones harry p has pic of are 159 lights on a 156 As he says personally don't think they look right the're out of proportion
  19. Just wondered if it was similar to Oxfordshire
  20. right heads back just waiting for the gaskets .
  21. they will fit but thought that the 60 related to the tyre hight not a percentage of width Whats the weather like in PORTUGAL
  22. The only difference between the 2 sizes you have here is the tyre width the 185 and 195 is the tread/tyre width the 60 the same on both sizes you have put is the height of the side of the tyre the diameter will stay the same. Just wider
  23. its the side profile that will change your speedo not the width 185/ 60 195/50 number the 50 and 60 that will determine tyre height and overall circumfrence that and wheel size.
