  1. Or look on the registration document? My Sprint is ZAS902***********
  2. Keith, you've got it that far, just remove the entire mechanism from the door and then its obvious where the screws are....not sure you can get at them with the mechanism in situ...you need to get at screws on the other side of the assembly..... Give me a shout if you need help. Richard
  3. At the risk of being mildly on topic, I'd go along with the idea of a 145 2.0, a 155 2.0 or even a GTV...all easily available for under a grand and the early versions of all sneak under the 15 year-old barrier......
  4. I'm sure I'll have one once I work out which bit you want......
  5. My 164 has developed a leaky rear brake pipe, so I'm grabbing a lift down with Steve McCall the famous Liverpool Alfa Taxi driver...in a 156 painted as a Carbinieri car!
  6. OK Munky, thanks......I guess most people will know me from one of the other forums, so hopefully my bona-fides will be established - I've never pushed myself as a seller, but if people have asked for parts that I could supply I've replied Equally as I spend my working life taking the cars to bits I usually have a reasonable knowledge of how to fettle them, and happily share that knowledge for free if I can..... Once you've sorted out how you're going to operate please give me a shout
  7. Yean - need to know what profile you have bought - if you have the original wheels you need 205/50x15 to keep about the same rolling circumference as original. If your existing tyres on the rear were 225/50 then 205/50 will lower the gearing slightly and indeed make the car sit fractionally lower....though I'd have thought 225s would have been a bit wide for standard rims......
  8. Just revived a GTV and when I connected the battery the indicators all started flashing, although the siren wasn't sounding. Tried turning it off under the bonner as advised above...which made no differnce. Chopped the wires to the sounder - which made no difference. So since I can't for the life of me remember where the control unit for the alarm is on a Ph 1 - can anyone enlighten me, please......
  9. Ta! Edit....I would but I can't.......says I may not have participated enough......
