  1. 2 months old, boxed with all cables, manuals, cds etc still in their little baggies. Its in perfect working order and spankingly good condition. Not a scratch or mark on it. Comes with a complete spare identical phone in equally good condition, but it wont recognise sim cards. Ideal for spare screen, battery etc if you ever need one. Both are on O2 which normally means they wont need unlocking for other networks but they may do. £100 for the pair or £85 for the working one and £25 for the spare one.
  2. Cool. If the arches do stick out a bit too much it's normally nothing a set of 5mm spacers can't fix. Wheels that sit too far in are one of my pet hates.
  3. I like this a lot so far, but arches could ruin it if the wheels dont fill them properly. Stick on arches are very hard to pull off (excuse the pun) and I haven't seen a rear bumper that doesn't look gash except the gta one. The carbon grill gets my vote tho.
  4. Is it haynes? If it is, as per copyright rules, as we're not profiting from it in any way and it's a link to a file hosted elsewhere, if they ask us to remove it, we will. But thanks for the concern.
  5. The geek shall inherit the earth.
  6. I like the front and rear lights. The rest is rubbish.
  7. Our just put them where the yellow arrows are, iirc they are the factory jacking points.
  8. No. The rubber pads on the lift shouldn't crush the lip. If they look like they're going to you can get adapters for the lift. If its a place that rents then they should have them.

    Official hello...

Alright jon Make yerself at home fella
  10. Everything that makes it a noteworthy car is bought in.
  11. That was included in my statement. There's about as much vauxhall in the lotus (the clue is in the name) carlton as there was in my post-breakfast shit this morning. They gave lotus a shitty barge, lotus changed just about everything on it. Then vauxhall claimed the glory... they're good at that. 'our flagship car is a massive bag of wank, what do we do?... should we try and develop it and make it into the car it could be, maybe make it sporty and drive well?' 'naaah, fuck that, pay a minion to do it for us then we can say it was our idea'
  12. those roof bars will fetch a pretty penny on ebay. Or just put them back on, they are awesome.
  13. Owning company is GM. Yes. they saw a good car and bought it. Its a holden. (with gm badges)
  14. Every single good car in vauxhall's history has been bought in by them. You would think a company as vast and rich as gm could bolt together just one car that isn't dull/shit... But no. Useless glory stealing ####s.
  15. I'd rather pay the extra for an import than drive something with vauxhall badges.
  16. Not only are spark plugs responsible for many running issues, they can also tell you all sorts of things that may be causing running issues. Whenever I have a car with a tricky diagnosis, I check the plugs.
  17. I've made myself one of these. A good suction mount, a voice control app, a gps speedo app and an android phone. Turn the phone so it sits at the right angle under the screen and bobs yer uncle. Its not very good in the daylight. But at night its great. Only problem is the same as most of these, the laminated screen gives a very slight double reflection. Not very good for reading texts but with the music player, speedo, movies, sat nav etc it works a treat. The only real issue I've found is on cold nights, its positioned right over the screen vent and after an hour or two the battery gets too hot to keep charging so I have to unplug the power cable. (the gps app is called 'dynomaster' and laughably claims to be able to give accurate dyno readouts... it doesnt, but the 0-60 and 0-100 bit is quite cool.)

  19. I have many hidden talents. I've had my fair share of car audio. The 528 was tested at 140db. I like my music loud. A well setup system will always win out over a 10 million watt bodged together ripspeed heap. Just never really had any call to share my knowledge with alfa people, the engines are normally all the music they need I used to do installs as one of my pocket money earners too.
  20. Yep that will work. Just put some silicon on the screws as they go through the metal into the mdf to reduce vibration. Much better would be dynamat over and under the metal. 240 watts is pretty good, but will only need a low end amp to power them. Something out of the JBL gto range would do nicely.
