I have a 156 selespeed I wish to sell and thought I would try the forums before eBay MOT till Oct however it has power steering failure not sure what but it throws out the fluid almost instantly don't have the time to fix I'm afraid If any more info neede then please get in touch

Right this problem has resurfaced the fuel smell is now strongest after driving the car and then leaving it for a few hours its worse inside, i have checked all the lines under the bonnet and, the and as much as i can under the car and there are no leaks. when i release the cap there is no vacuum so i assume that there is a leak somewhere but where do i start looking? is the tank metal can it corrode? Thanks for any help

I've recently noticed both a hesitancy and surge at speed with light throttle also a few weeks back I got an engine light on the dash at the same time as a little bit of a rough idle I checked the code and got a lambda sensor fault I think it was p0152 a high signal but the fault was no longer present so I reset the light and it hasn't returned the idle got better but now I have this new problem If it is a lambda fault which one is it? Had an odd noise recently which sounds like intermintant grinding from the drivers side on left lock when coming down ramps etc.. So today I took off the drivers side wheel and there is a small area of clean metal on the subframe mounting and the bolt on the lower balljoint of the drop link is worn Does this mean th ARB is worn and moving or should I be looking else where upper arms and drop links were replaced about 6 months ago Thanks Mark

I have not taken the injectors out but the whole area around them seems dry and no smell of fuel. All of the pipe work and tank looks sound with no dampness and fuel cap in place with no smell The smell seems strongest now around the rear of the car shortly after turning the car off does the tank vent? With the engine running I cannot smell any fuel. Also I went out without the radio and noticed a sort of chattering sound behind the dash board on the drivers side which sort of sounds like a relay constantly running its not there all the time and not at idle. Could it be connected? The ecomony doesn't seem to be compromised either. Thanks Mark

Never rains but it pours hoping for an easy fix. If it is injector seals are they easy to do and cheap to buy? The smell seems strongest on the drivers side front but only after the engine is switched off there is no smell when on the move even when idling in traffic which is why I assumed vapour recovery

Hello Recently I am getting the smell of petrol in the car if I return to it after an hour or so but not if left overnight also straight after switching off I can smell petrol just outside the drivers door.. I am assuming its the fuel vapour recovery bits are they easy to get at? And what do I test Thanks Mark

Hello I have a couple of Sele issues and I am not sure if they are related every now and then the system will not allow me to change up from 2nd but if I slow down I can select 1st and then everything is ok and it will run with no problems this problem cannot be forced sometimes it will do it once a week and then not again for months. The 2nd problem is the city button will sometimes fail to work this happens with no pattern sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't Are the problems connected? I don't have fiat ecuscan but do have the other program I just need to find the time to run it Any help would be most appriciated

Odd thing happened today i noticed the undertray had come loose at the back on the drivers side and also where it attaches to the wheel arch liner so I got under and cable tied it up and it seems to have cured the wobble a bit. Is it possible for a loose undertray to cause the problem?
