WTI 59 Report post Posted August 13, 2011 Had a Gtv twin spark phase 1 for 8 years and it was time to move on as it was costing me fortunes to keep it going. Moved on to an immaculate GT i bought from a friend 1.9jtd that had only done 13k.Now dont get me wrong i love the GT its better build quality and is a beauty to be behold but i still miss the Gtv.What did the gtv have that the GT does not Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The bums nice, but the front is....odd This'll make you laugh, but I think the exact opposite when I look at a GT. In other words, I think the nose looks fantastic, and the back end looks all wrong. Morgan you are correct the front end is stunning but for me the shortfall to such a beautiful front end is some very average looking headlights.For a coupe it sits a little too high for me.The GTV was like a go kart handling wise compared to the GT and for me the driving position was spot on.I wanted a phase 3 GTV but wasnt allowed as the kids were sat on each others laps.
