Now i'm here I'd better say hi (anything to get the psot count up )

Thing is, I can't find out how many psots I need to make before I can create a profile so here's another shameless piece of psot whoreing.

It looks like the spam settings were time not post based.

You should now have full access after 25 posts.

Anyone have any ideas why I can't see a button to start a new thread in any of the forums?

I can see all the permissions blurb at the bottom of each forum but can't see a new thread link?

EDIT - I "found" it, it's the same place as the reply button within threads but is (for some reason) invisible (I use Firefox btw)

I'll check your permissions, is it just invisible or is it not working?

everything seems normal. Have you tried closing down your browser and re-opening?

tab buttons?

Perhaps he likes smoking and wants to see options for Malborough, Benny Hedgehogs, Raffles etc. (Do they still sell Raffles?)

There's too much health and safety, let's have tab buttons!

Sorry I meant the tag buttons above the reply box.

Have now cleared cookies, signed out and gone back in with another browser (IE) still the same. I also noticed that the forum home page is a simple white background with black text and two links (home and forum) only. Style sheet problem maybe?

Hmm... its all working fine for me at this end. It does sound like its not loading the stylesheet/images for you... I'll have a look into why when I get back from the school run, sorry about that chap :$

I've tried with IE, firefox and chrome and have no problems. Have you tried clearing your cache? The style sheets and that sort of thing isn't really my side of the operation so I'll give Waz a shout and see if he can tell whats up.

Hi LB,

You're visiting www.alfadriver.com aren't you? ;)

The forum lives at www.alfadriver.com/forum - the other url is for our upcoming portal (CMS) site (but don't tell anyone I told you that cos it's meant to be top secret ;))
