147 electrical issues

Recommended Posts

My bro's 147 1.6 t sparks rear windows won't open (electric).

They sometimes sound like there trying to open just won't!

Also Every now and then the odometer flashes and resets itself!!

Any idea's?

We have put it on a code reader but it says no faults!

Try one person with hands on the window "aiding" it down as the other selects the switch, also have the engine running as the anti-trap is current sensing and if the battery is low then the sensor gets a false signal and stops the window straight away, though the most likely problem is corroded motors, these can be stripped down and cleaned.

Flashing Odo = Canbus data link error = find loose connection and fix OR proxy alignment required after a computer has been replaced to pair them all up.
