Busso916c 1 Report post Posted April 27, 2014 Hi, I replaced a fitting on the actuator gear because it was leaking oil, and i must to diconnect the three oil pipes. Now I have two questions: 1) how to check the oil level in the selespeed ? at a cold car and pressurized circuit (key to mar)? 2) how to bleeding the actuator? considered that i use MES registrered. I took some photo inside the actuator and I saw that it is in fact the same as the stilo selespeed abarth. I'll post some photo of the oil seal and of the actuator thanks for the reply Daniele
Smaky 73 Report post Posted April 27, 2014 It is indeed the same system as the Stilo arbath, To Prime, just select gears about 20 times and that will do it. To check, open door, turn key to MAR, select a few gears and stop whilst the pump is priming, now check the level on the dipstick attached to the reservoir lid. Busso916c 1 Report post Posted April 28, 2014 (edited) Very thanks for your fast reply. A question: if i set the oil level with your procedure, when the circuit have low pressure, the oil level is higher that the max level (about 2 cm) is this correct ?? Smaky 73 Report post Posted April 28, 2014 Yes, if you went in through the passengers door, opened the bonnet and looked at the reservoir before it primed, then the fluid would be almost at the top, once primed the fluid is moved to the accumulator which stores it under pressure until it is needed to work. Busso916c 1 Report post Posted May 24, 2014 hi, I had some problems with the connector N20: began to flash the number of gear without gear change request. Once you have moved the connector everything as if nothing had happened;-) I removed the connector and soldered the wires The following is a link with all the welding operation, sorry for the Italian .. http://www.alfasport.net/forum/topic.asp?whichpage=2&TOPIC_ID=2987 Ciao
