Saabretooth 8 Report post Posted October 2, 2013 I've been exploring installing an oil catch tank on the Busso for some time, and then I came across this interesting product, Crankcase Pressure Reducing Valve. Or Reducer for short. Its a japanese thing, and the Japs are crazy about Alfas more so than probably any other non-italian country. http://maekawaengineering.blog84.fc2.com/blog-entry-455.html In any case, that's the kit for the V6, except that I am exploring the oil catch tank inbetween. Its a one way valve so that the air moves runs in one direction only. much like how our heart and blood vessels work. Cheers.
Smaky 73 Report post Posted October 3, 2013 A waste of time and money, the V6 uses so little oil that it's not worth the investment, the earlier 2.5s even had an oil catcher system built in ( but the 3.2 has a box of plugs sat in its place), and that kit looks like a load of crap achieving nothing but reducing cooling flow in the engine bay.
