DeeeeC 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2012 FWIW, my temp guage was reading low and I thought I needed a thermostat too, but FES was confirming that the temp was actually 15 degrees more than the guage was reading, i.e. about 90 C as it should be. Mine reads low too.. but its just the reader.. MES reports 88ish. a friend of mine has a 156 2.0 TS which runs at about 70... confirmed with MES. Some alfa guy in Adelaide has convinced him that 70-80 degrees is fine for the 156.. I'm not so sure about that, given the stat opens at 88.. meh.
