Rebuilding GTV's rear suspension - questions before starting

Recommended Posts

After successfully fitting some new front wishbones to my car, I am thinking about tackling the rear end.

How do I tell which bushes have perished?

Can I cut out the old spring pan bushes?

Can I do this on the car or is it easier if i remove the subframe :s

Are there any other obstacles I will probably face?

any advice is welcome...

regards

Normally on GTVs people go for the Rose Joint bushes which are fitted to the V6 as standard, these require the pans to be removed and the old bushes pressed out, this can be done without removing the subframe.
