wayne-dear 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2011 A couple of months ago a 'mate' of mine was driving his Alfa 155 with knowingly no MOT, he got pulled by a policeman in a dog van (the shame)....now the given choice was (very decent cop) £60 no points or as its Saturday if there is an MOT on the car by Monday i will forget it..........due to some exhaust issues an MOT was not forthcoming, guess the result............... wayne-dear 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2011 Well i'll tell ya, i got a £90 fine instead, which Jules then negotiated with her mate at the fines office down to £45...............they would do her a favour and put it through as a 'Fault'............sorted, she then gets a phone call off a policeman saying "sorry Jules we only just saw this, money has been refunded".....
