  1. Hey you guys!!! I want to know what make the rear bumper splitter is! Thank you please!
  2. Ok here are some pics all measurements are from center of the holes to the edge of the roof skin/rubber seal edge! You'll need to use the flush fitting rivnuts though or the rails sit on the raised part of the other type of rivnut rather than on the roof panel!
  3. Hi guys they must be OEM but not OEM prices Any thing considered ok! Ta

  6. Hey, I'm thinking of fitting HID's to my SW has anyone else done this conversion? Lots of kits on the bay and seeing as they're not illegal MOT wise (unless incorrectly fitted) its got me thinking! The FL lights have no projector (magnified) unit so will the reflector go mad with the HID's fitted??
  7. Rattle cans are for small areas really! Bumper corners etc the materials in the can are not really designed for long term finish! I could write a massive reply to you so what I will do is a step by step guide with pictures so everyone will see whats involved!
  8. If you want to spray the grille you'll need some "acid etch primer" its available from Halfrauds (if you have a trade card its a good discount) Get some 320 wet'n dry and give it a reet good sanding! No shine! Degrease and spray about 2-3 medium coats on, leave to go tacky then Spray on a couple of coats of filler primer and leave to dry. Flat off with 5-600 wet'n dry (don't flat through) degrease and spray on satin black JD!! Remember rattle cans are not as good as 2k!
  9. Depends which shade of Purple/Rosso you require bud I'd have to choose from the 7 shades on there right now. Got ya! PM me some pics and I'll quote you happy (hopefully)
  10. small question, why did you not paint the the top of the rear door? would painting this not help blend in with the rest of the paint? I appreciate you are a pro, but was just curious I was blending up the front door frame and the rear 1/4 D pillar! If it doesn't need painting its not worth introducing a potential problem area however small!
  11. Post up some pics bud, need to know what I'm dealing with! Will take pics 2moz of all body work. Cool bud

  15. Hey guys good news I found the measurements I'd scrawled on to a raggity old bit of paper so panic avoided!!! I'm getting creative tonight! Painting bonnet, front bumper, wings and 3 doors! Oh and door mirrors (had bases blasted) and roof bars!! I'll post up some pics of my workings!!
  16. Ta bud! But already have a set of bars!!
  17. Hi guys, I got some roof bars for my sportwagon and while I was there I took measurements of where to drill the holes (so it looks like they were factory fit)and now I've lost said measurements! So $64,000,000 question is - can anyone furnish me with the correct measurements please? Thank you, RP
  18. I always treat floor pans like this- scrape all flaky paint off 1st (wear some goggles!) 4.5 inch angle grinder and a wire cup brush attatchment on the rusty bits and left over bits and bobs the I use jenolite liquid rust destroyer (the M.O.D use it on tanks, so good enough for me lol) then I use the "Acid etch" primer in cans you can buy from Halfords (good stuff) a bit of PU sealer on the pressed D tags then use Black waxoyl sprayed on then go round all the edges of the pans and joins with a brush to seal the seams! I restore cars for a living so its easy for me on a ramp! Anybody want some help message me! Advice is free!
