Insurance for the V6 is way out of budget. The TS will stay and be repaired to a good standard too. Next stop service & bodywork after crank sensor is replaced.

It's a crank sensor, spoke to Cloverleaf garage in Gloucester. Recovery arriving @ around 9am 2moz and to be towed straight to the garage. Just over £100 repair bill. The Alfa Stays!

The car failed again, car not sparking awaiting recovery in union square car park. Any Alfa specialists able to repair my car 2moz. Getting desperate as the car is needed to take us home Friday.

Cambelt, water pump, MAF Sensor and cam pulley replaced by Smaky in November 2011. Crank Sensor Replaced by Smaky December 2011 Bad points: Injector light pops on, camshaft positioning sensor, does not send car into Limp mode. Big scrape/dent across Nearside rear door & quarter. Scratches over bodywork mainly front bumper. Key fob alarm looks but the rubber button is deteriating. £450 ONO Door with dent to bereplaced before sale. Boot lid only opens from catch in door well.

You should know you heard, cambelt due in 11k, Variator needs replacing, Harry has sensor on his scrapped 156 to replace.

Injector sensor needs replacing bar that it's complete

I came into some money this morning, and been thinking about the car. The funds I have are £1217. Now what to do, Should I sell my 156 for £400 in it's current condition? And use £1600 to buy a decent, well looked after V6 (if I can afford insurance & tax? OR Repair the car?

Hi guys, On Friday I get paid and looking at servicing the car myself BUT am stuck on Air Filters. It's either Auto Delta Sports Filter, K&N Filter or a ECP filter? Can anyone recommend a filter? Cheers.
