Hey, Shane, you don't have to have an Alfa to be here (but it helps) to paraphrase a well known .. erm ... phrase! Plenty people here have other cars, even the mods!

    Mitcar 2011

This year it's on 14th August at Stoneleigh Abbey, Coventry. Lovely country house, parkland, etc. Last year was epic at Chatsworth, be good to see some peeps at this one. Full details at www.mitcar.co.uk, brief details as follows ... MITCAR 2011 **** SUNDAY 14 AUGUST*** STONELEIGH ABBEY, Nr. KENILWORTH We return to the West Midlands this year, knowing that Chatsworth in 2010 will take a lot of beating! However, Stoneleigh Abbey is a very attractive venue on the banks of the River Avon and we have exclusive use of a very large area of parkland with the impressive house as a backdrop. Admission will again be only £5 per Italian Car and this will give all occupants entry to the lovely gardens and terrace with cafe overlooking the Avon. Start time is 10.30 am A limited number of guided tours of the house will be available at the discounted price of £5 per head. Please note, we are advised that these tours are not suitable for children. Dogs are alloowed in the grounds on leash and this year sensible BBQ's are OK

  9. Wow, he's a keeper, if he bought you a GTV!!! LOL Chose a good site to join, congratulations!
  10. Cheers mate, I'm still not sure if they are original wheels, although the state of the alloys would suggest they are ...!! They have a massive nut in the middle which requires a special tool (which luckily we have), the garage we ordered the tyres through seemed a bit clueless, so I'm not sure how much I trust them. They were saying things like "well, if you're going to race it ...." and "the back might sit down more because of the different widths ..." Confidence? No.

  12. Don't know if anyone can help me? I've ordered new tyres for my S4 but well it turns out that I have different ones on the back to the front! The fronts are 205's, and the rears are 225's. I've ordered 4 205's, and the wheels are the same, we don't go faster than about 60mph in it cos it's too noisy, do you think it would be OK to fit the 205's on all four wheels???
  13. I thought so ... hmmm I have cable ties somewhere .... but I keep them for tying up ... erm .... well anyway, the bloke said why don't we bodge it this way and that way, which would have been much more agro and still a bodge, so I said I'm going to do it this way, easy bodge, and then do something else!
  14. It surely is!! Was going to re-do some guttering but as it was different to the type I bought I bodged it with some duct tape , an old dog food bag and an old bit of pipe.
