  1. Yay! I'm a rep! Will have to get something else going locally. First - to print off flyers. Can someone link me to them? Or are there new ones?
  2. Meh, gonna be sold soon anyway ...
  3. If you come across one, let me know, Smaky. I'll have to run it by my daughter's boyfriend first!
  4. My almost son-in-law might be interested. I've texted him - where are you?
  5. Dazed and confused

  6. OK, thanks - we'll have a check of those.
  7. Nice car! Always liked the 166. Come on in, we don't bite ....
  8. Would it be worth getting them for the back though? It's only the back that is wearing AFAIK.
  9. It will be expensive news, whatever it is!
  10. Gonna give Ned a call tomorrow, see what they say.
  11. Nope. Never had a problem until the last time they tried to do the alignment it was out and they said they couldn't adjust it. So this time, we asked before they charged us £90 and they admitted they couldn't do it. Then they said no one could do it, it wasn't possible. I said so even if I take it to Alfa, they won't be able to do it. No, they said. Then came out with this shit about needing some special bolt. I can't see how that would even work?
  12. Just had the GTA fail the MOT due to tyres - seems that they're worn on the insides due to the setting of the "camber" of the wheels. The tyre place says they can't adjust for camber, only toe in. When I pressed the guy, he said that you need a special nut which was sold as an after market addition to adjust the camber. Sounds a bit suss to me - any ideas?
  13. Great stuff, thanks Smiffy!
  14. Yes, there are, it's true. Taking our GTA for it's MOT this afternoon. Let's hope it passes
  15. Haha too right! That's why they make the price more than they want, so they can drop it ...
  16. Oh that's cool! He won't have the dosh until the end of next month, but he could put down a deposit. Not sure if he would want to pay the full asking price though.
  17. Sounds good, Smiffy - just had a look at it, looks quite tidy - not sure about exactly how much he will have to spend, but if you are in the area and you have time, we'd appreciate it.
  18. Nope. And he's gone for the 1.6 because he's only 22 and it's cheaper on the insurance.
  19. Well I think his MAX budget is about £1450, so depending on age/condition/etc
  20. I'm sure he'd love it, but a), he hasn't got that sort of budget, and he can't afford the insurance! But thanks for the thought! I think he's looking for a 1.6, tbh.
