Yay! I'm a rep! Will have to get something else going locally. First - to print off flyers. Can someone link me to them? Or are there new ones?
-
Meh, gonna be sold soon anyway ...
-
If you come across one, let me know, Smaky. I'll have to run it by my daughter's boyfriend first!
-
My almost son-in-law might be interested. I've texted him - where are you?
-
OK, thanks - we'll have a check of those.
-
Nice car! Always liked the 166. Come on in, we don't bite ....
-
Would it be worth getting them for the back though? It's only the back that is wearing AFAIK.
-
It will be expensive news, whatever it is!
-
Gonna give Ned a call tomorrow, see what they say.
-
Nope. Never had a problem until the last time they tried to do the alignment it was out and they said they couldn't adjust it. So this time, we asked before they charged us £90 and they admitted they couldn't do it. Then they said no one could do it, it wasn't possible. I said so even if I take it to Alfa, they won't be able to do it. No, they said. Then came out with this shit about needing some special bolt. I can't see how that would even work?

Just had the GTA fail the MOT due to tyres - seems that they're worn on the insides due to the setting of the "camber" of the wheels. The tyre place says they can't adjust for camber, only toe in. When I pressed the guy, he said that you need a special nut which was sold as an after market addition to adjust the camber. Sounds a bit suss to me - any ideas?
-
Great stuff, thanks Smiffy!
-
Yes, there are, it's true. Taking our GTA for it's MOT this afternoon. Let's hope it passes
-
PM me details, Sphinx
-
Haha too right! That's why they make the price more than they want, so they can drop it ...
-
Why not?!
-
Oh that's cool! He won't have the dosh until the end of next month, but he could put down a deposit. Not sure if he would want to pay the full asking price though.
-
Sounds good, Smiffy - just had a look at it, looks quite tidy - not sure about exactly how much he will have to spend, but if you are in the area and you have time, we'd appreciate it.
-
Nope. And he's gone for the 1.6 because he's only 22 and it's cheaper on the insurance.
-
Well I think his MAX budget is about £1450, so depending on age/condition/etc
-
I'm sure he'd love it, but a), he hasn't got that sort of budget, and he can't afford the insurance! But thanks for the thought! I think he's looking for a 1.6, tbh.
