How To Clean Manifold Out On A 1.9 Jtdm

Hi guys, does anyone know if there is a guide for removing and cleaning or replacing the manifold on the 1.9 jtdm. I have removed upper turbo hose, throttle body and egr valve but not sure what's next.

 

Any tips, advise or guides would be great, many thanks Jon

More bad news, this requires the fuel pump to be removed to allow for removal of the intake manifold itself, which also means it's cambelt replacement time.

darn cambelt has not long been done, I just wanted to give it a clean after i did the egr valve, its not a problem i have put everything back together, i was giving it a good clean before the new owner collects her on wednesday.

despite putting my car on ebay and listing its fault (no low rev power) the buyer after winning the auction offered me pennys for her so i refused and im oing to keep her.

 

just phoned up garage £400 to remove and clean the manifold....WTF!

 

going to have to tackle this myself

FFS got to do this now dropped plastic pipe in manifold and cant get it out

Use a vacumm cleaner to suck the pipe out
