smiffy 99 Report post Posted February 1, 2014 I'm starting to look at this ready for summer Any preferences? By the seaside Inland by woods/forest I will be looking for sites that will include dog friendly, kid friendly, wife friendly and have caravans or chalets on it. Oh and passion wagons
Bigdar 62 Report post Posted February 1, 2014 It's only fair to try and get somewhere central to most members I think. I'm not fussed what the setting is though.
LJ_GQV 115 Report post Posted February 1, 2014 where ever it is there is always going to be some people who have to travel further than others but if we get a rough idea of who is likely to go then work it out from there? im not fussed where it is either tbh. if its near the sea, depending what time of year if dogs are allowed on there or if its a 'dog friendly' beach it won't matter either way Pip will find mud and/or water anyway
smiffy 99 Report post Posted February 1, 2014 Well the santa pod meet is near enough central, and the only other place Central-ish and nice is the Cotswolds. Anything upt north
Clem Fandango 71 Report post Posted February 2, 2014 I know of a campsite in Halifax. Nothing near by and nothing to do but it's cheap and the owners don't care if you get drunk and have a big fire.

K9d 108 Report post Posted February 2, 2014 That's nearly 5 hours from here  I'd have to declare myself out of that one In my passion wagon everything is at least 5 hours away, 30bhp per ton doesn't = fast.

K9d 108 Report post Posted February 2, 2014 Maybe if my 156 dies I can swap the engine into the passion wagon, will need to lower the gear ratio though.
LJ_GQV 115 Report post Posted February 2, 2014 Tow it there quicker with the 156 you could drive the 156, kathy could drive the wagon. Twinned engined then (Sort of)
