Smaky 73 Report post Posted May 6, 2013 Depending on if the age of the Multipla there could be a huge difference. The easy way is though to remove the 6mm allen blanking plug from the front cam at the timing end and as you rotate the engine (clockwise) you'll see a slot in the cam align with the hole, this is the timing at TDC (as long as it was set right to start with), then it's the usual removal of covers, supporting the engine and off with the engine mount section, before removing the belt make a TDC mark for the crank on the block, it speeds things up, the water pump is 2 X 6mm allens and similar in style to the TS ones, seting the tension is the same as the TS, align the arrow with the hole. Overall it's a bit easier than a TS, this is all assuming it's the 16V version as not many GTs have an 8V engine. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
