Jamz3k 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2012 My drivers side electric window control likes to make clicking noises sometimes and it will lower my passenger side window down at random. To stop this I just pulled the connectors out of the passenger side window until I could be bothered to find the fault. Now after ages of scratching my head as my battery kept dying if the car wasn't driven daily I found the drawn to be coming from the drivers side electric window controls. Now I've pulled the controls out and I don't have a problem with the battery dying but I would prefer to get my windows working again. Is this a common fault? If not where is the best place to start look for the actual cause of the fault? Thanks as ever!
Smaky 73 Report post Posted February 22, 2012 It's been known to happen, it's down to the total closure system which is fitted to the 147, occasionally the key has caused this too as the button sticks and keeps sending the signal.
