Well myself and Brian decided we would go out for a drive to try and find a New summer venue for our monthly meet hoping to find somewhere central to all off Lancashire with easy Motorway access from all areas, and i think we found the place The Boat Yard Inn, Riley Green, Preston just off the M65, before we go ahead and finalize, we would appreciate your views on this venue for a North West monthly meet place, we are hoping to start at this venue on 3rd Monday of each Month starting in April 2015 at 19:30 hrs onwards. Please give us your views.

Next month Monday June 16th we (Alfa West Lancashire) are going to have a run out to Guys & Owld Nells at Bilsborrow nr Garstang, Leaving Cricket club about 19:30 to 19:45 going the countryside route to arrive about 20:20. So if any other North Westies clubs or individuals want to go along for some Pizza and refreshments the more the merrier. We picked here because its quite easy to get to from north,south,east,west Would be good to get everybody to meet up and could make it a quarterly event if the venue is ok with everyone. -

Travel lodge in St Annes on Sea is £27 for a double room on a Monday Night. Cricket club post code fy8 2rq we dont tend to stand out for to long in the cold, when its nice and warm inside we just nip in and out.

Gone a bit quite during winter months, all the older stuff locked up in there heated garages. will pick up in about march again. just 4 - 5 of us at the mo.
