  1. A big yes fro me. I love G-Wagens but this is overkill. The standard G55 AMG would be perfect thanks
  2. You'll have to kill me I'm afraid as I'm the owner of a 3.5 2.0 sport convertible. Had it just over year from new and have had the coils changed so it sits lower plus it's been fully aligned by an outfit called Wheels In Motion who do lots of MX5s. It's set up on their "fast road" setting and I love it. I only do about 4k miles a year and most of that's at weekends but I live near Milton Keynes so get lots of roundabout fun I've just put down a deposit on a new car for next year but if I hadn't I'd be splashing out on a BBR Cosworth S/C kit and a Milltek exhaust to make a proper little surprise package.

Had an S2K for a while - loved it, 9000rpm and a mental noise =

Had an R32 Mk 5 with DSG - loved it. Agree with Morgan, DSG is a wonderful thing indeed. Sent from my HTC Flyer P510e using Tapatalk

Add another one. Had a look at a white M3 with Competition Pack and fantastic 7speed DCT semi auto box. Really, really nice and very tempting indeed. Sent from my HTC Flyer P510e using Tapatalk

    The BMW thread

Always had a bit of a soft spot for the E30 since my Mum bought a brand new one in 1988 which I, then at the tender of age of 17 managed to get sideways on a roundabout during an illicit night out in whilst the parents were away one weekend. Net result was clipping the kerb and causing several hundred pounds of damage before putting it back in the garage and hoping she wouldn't notice...........she did. Not many excite me at the moment, seriously considered a Z4 last year but just wasn't that exciting to drive and Mrs RSK blanched at the very prospect of an X5 over a Disco but do like the following: 850i Always fancied and still do one day a 7 E30 M3 130i/135i or 1M M5 Touring Love the old 507 That's about it.

    Hello

Kind words all - thanks very much indeed. It's certainly interesting watching the steady stream of new recruits. Just to add my 2p I never really had a problem with AO the institution and certainly not with the mods. I just found that the disproportionate volume of certain people's voices which was effectively tacit bullying just wore me down over time. As an institution I thought it was great, I commend Ian on what he achieved with the site and am sure that the two sites can, and will, happily co-exist. I sometimes think of AO in the way as I do America - I love America it's just Americans who piss me off Anyway that's the philosophising over and done with.........

    Hello

Hello there, No longer an Alfa owner nor a member of the forum of the same name but noticed that this brave new endeavour was under way so thought I'd sign up and take a peek. Not sure how participative I'll be but it's nice to see a few names I recognise, and also to happily note the absence thus far of one or two others Anyway, all the best with the site, early signs seem encouraging.
