  1. cool its on the 2nd thursday of each month, think march's meet is around the 13th but theres usually a couple of us there keep an eye out in the meets section this month there was a pantera there, few abarths, couple of maserati's and some fiats. theres usually a few bikes there too
  2. welcome to AD where abouts in london are you? we go to the Ace cafe for the italian car night every month if you were interested
  3. Yea would be good for some people to come back & for newbies to start posting too
  4. might be worth checking ebay for a spare, just incase
  5. fingers crossed for you a mate has recently had to have an alloy repaired (welded) on his GT and it was about £60 i think so not as bad as a new wheel. might be wrth getting everything checked out though just incase, im sure tyres on the 19's aren't cheap
  6. thats a shame, im guessing its the wheel gone? good luck claiming off h council, its no use doing that round here as they dont pay out even though the roads are in a really bad state hope you can get it sorted quickly and cheap as possible whatever it is which needs to be repaired
  7. its not bad going really here's to the next 1000
  8. Been keeping an eye on the members list recently as its been coming up to 1000 members and tonight it has happened
  9. oh no! that doesnt sound good ive caught a couple of the bastards round here, they are everywhere . theres 1 that has turned into a trnch just as you come off a roundabout near me and unless you know its there its hard to see and avoid as you are looking at the other traffic on the roundabout
  10. Body coloured for me i think, when cars have difrent coloured bumpers they can look a bit 'unfinished' if you get what i mean. Miro is a good colour choice
  11. im not 100% sure but i think it depends on what age the car is whether it would have that or not? im sure someone will know for sure and i might be wrong but im sure i read something is slightly difrent depending on which age the car is, might be 2006 onwards??
  12. you can always get a couple of things done to the GT to make it quicker anyway, easiest thing is a remap and when done properly are great i know a couple of people with the 1.9 GT and they have done a few bits to them and they are quick cars
  13. if you can afford the V6 though, you have to get 1, they are great had it in my GTA and just the noise is worth buying it for
  14. Hi Sam, welcome to AD i bet you miss the V6 sounds good in red though, any pics? The GT is a great looking car, i've not heard great things about the jts but the jtd is a good engine. common things from what i've read (haven't owned a GT but have had a 147 & 147 GTA) are the suspension is more a consumable when looking after them. knocks and rattles are common from old and tired suspension. i had to have wishbones/droplinks replaced on both of mine. I think the jts is a modified twinspark engine and injectors block up and cause a problem so out of the 2 id look at the jtd if it was me buying my favourite colours are red or black, black with red leather would be perfect although i have seen a really nice dark blue before with tan leather and that looked just as good i dont know where to suggest as the best place to buy from but if its a private sale see that it has had all the major work done at the right intervals and been toped up (general stuff when you're buying a car really) if its from a used car place/ dealership you have the benefit of a bit of warranty with it. have a drive of a couple and im sure you'll be able to see how good they are and hopefully you'll be in a GT soon
  15. yea that was before it was silenced so was really loud, its a bit quieter now though and only loud when its in D mode so im happy with it, sounds better now its quieter too before it was just a loud noise
  16. just to update this, done a couple more bits to it now. changed the air intake pipework and replaced the airbox with an open cone filter. just need to get it on the dyno to see if it has made any difrence to it or not. it makes a nice noise though and feels like it revs more freely so im happy. fitted new osram bulbs too so no more yellow looking headlights and they actually give out some light now which is quite handy at night. They also match the white led's so doesnt even look out of place like some bulbs you see on cars its been silenced a bit aswell as it was too loud before, got a video of it too which is before it was silenced http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xo41Ccy0kUM
