alfizta 6 Report post Posted September 1, 2014 (edited) it appears that my 156 has a leak at the top of exhaust manifold. I would like to know your expert opinions of this messing with lambda readings, as I got lambda related fault codes (p0130, sensor signal low, p0170, sensor integrator high, and p1172 low as well) and a jumping idle when hot... thank you very much! alfizta 6 Report post Posted September 1, 2014 I guess this explains it: «One thing to keep in mind about wideband O2 sensors is that they can be fooled in the same way as a conventional oxygen sensor by air leaks between the exhaust manifold and head, and by misfires that allow unburned oxygen to pass through into the exhaust. Either will cause the sensor to indicate a false lean condition which, in turn, will cause the computer to make the engine run poorly, idle badly, or fuel constantly rich.»
