trevb78 5 Report post Posted January 21, 2014 A quick update; After a week, I still love the car... Feels 'German' in build, but with character. If that makes sense! Only a couple of minor issues - boot light doesn't work (no power feeding it, so likely microswitch) and offside heated mirror not working.... Minor stuff! MrsAlfa 58 Report post Posted January 21, 2014 If that's the only problems you have, no problem! And wash your mouth out with the German comment! Oh, and did you know who does the electrics on Alfas? Yep, Bosch ...
trevb78 5 Report post Posted January 21, 2014 (edited) Ha ha, no offence intended! 😜 Bosch Italia🕠Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited January 21, 2014 by trevb78
MrsAlfa 58 Report post Posted January 21, 2014 Nah, no offence taken. But you don't normally get Alfa bashing on an Alfa forum! And comparing an Alfa to a german car, even favourably?

trevb78 5 Report post Posted January 21, 2014 (edited) 😠It's going in for a service soon. Normally do work myself, but a bit too new for that. Will also treat her to a waxoyl in the fairer weather... Are any of the panels galvanised? Or aluminium? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited January 21, 2014 by trevb78

LJ_GQV 115 Report post Posted February 14, 2014 oh no! that doesnt sound good ive caught a couple of the bastards round here, they are everywhere . theres 1 that has turned into a trnch just as you come off a roundabout near me and unless you know its there its hard to see and avoid as you are looking at the other traffic on the roundabout
trevb78 5 Report post Posted February 14, 2014 The missus was driving as I had too many sherbets. I didn't see it at all! Not good for 19"s! I'm trying to claim from the council. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
LJ_GQV 115 Report post Posted February 14, 2014 thats a shame, im guessing its the wheel gone? good luck claiming off h council, its no use doing that round here as they dont pay out even though the roads are in a really bad state hope you can get it sorted quickly and cheap as possible whatever it is which needs to be repaired
trevb78 5 Report post Posted February 14, 2014 It's defiantly bent the wheel a bit, think it's repairable... Hope it hasn't knocked more out! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
LJ_GQV 115 Report post Posted February 14, 2014 fingers crossed for you a mate has recently had to have an alloy repaired (welded) on his GT and it was about £60 i think so not as bad as a new wheel. might be wrth getting everything checked out though just incase, im sure tyres on the 19's aren't cheap
